The South Wayne Mart was built late in 1987 and opened for business in 1988. The Mart is a separate entity providing Cenex fuels under the Pecatonica Oil Cooperative umbrella that was added to provide more services for our local clientele. In 1997 the Mart was remodeled to add more conveniences for our customers. In 2001 an addition was added to provide rooms for other small business offices and the Woodford State Bank joined us. Currently the Mart has twelve employees. Over the past years the South Wayne Mart has helped our local communities by sponsoring various activities with local organizations and other groups and the Black Hawk Schools. Both the South Wayne Mart and the Pecatonica Oil Cooperative are investing in the future making our community a better place to raise a family.
